Amy’s love for music began at a very young age.  She began singing almost as early as she was talking.  Growing up Amy frequently sang in her home church and felt a call to share her love for music with others.  As years passed she was given the opportunity to travel and sing with a local Christian group.  This gave Amy a glimpse of what true music ministry meant and how God could use her to reach people who were lost, hurting or just needed to get closer to God.  The group disbanded but Amy continued singing in church and began working part time recording background vocals at Mill West Studios.

When the opportunity came for Amy to record her first cd project she wondered why God waited so long to answer this prayer.  She realized she had not been ready.  He had been working in her life to prepare her for the appointed time.  “There were so many things in my heart and mind that I needed to get straight.  I had to put aside my fear of not being good enough and allow God to take charge and use me to share his message of love, hope, faith and salvation.” 

Amy’s Self Titled Debut project is comprised of songs that have ministered to her in a very personal way.  Her prayer is when someone listens that they will look into their heart and want to know God on a deeper level.  “I believe that if I can sing these songs the way I feel them that people will be blessed.”
